2016 Dodge Dart

The 2016 Dodge Dart represents a bold new direction for small cars everywhere, and we think it’s easy to see why so many Sherwood Park, Edmonton, and St. Albert drivers make it their compact car of choice. A standout model in our new car inventory, Derrick Dodge is always excited to see a driver head off behind the wheel of their Dart, whether it’s the basic SE trim level, the top-of-the-line Limited, or something in between. Because we know there’s a Dart for every kind of driver, on nearly any budget.

Performance and Fuel Economy

Some small cars offer two different engine options to try to fit the needs of multiple drivers, but many still just offer a basic four-cylinder. Dodge knows better. With three different engines, they have made it easy to craft the Dodge that is just as powerful and efficient as you need.

  • The standard 2.0L Tigershark I4 engine is rated at 160 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque, earning up to 43 mpg (6.5L / 100km) highway and 30 mpg (9.4L / 100km) city.
  • Upgrading to the 1.4L MultiAir I4 Turbo brings the power output up to 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque while boosting the fuel economy as well to 49 mpg (5.8L / 100km) highway and 33 mpg (8.5L / 100km) city.
  • For more power, there’s the 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir I4, which has 184 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque, rated at up to 32 mpg (6.8L / 100km) highway and 28 mpg (10.1L / 100km) city.

Trims and Features

With five main trim levels, the Dart has enough variation to let the majority of drivers find a suite of amenities they enjoy without having to make any unnecessary upgrades. In addition to the trim levels, the available package options make it easy to upgrade for desirable features like these:

  • Customizable Display: The only vehicle in its class to sport such a display, the Dart has a 7-inch customizable display in the gauge cluster that brings relevant data right where you need it.
  • Radio 8.4 Touchscreen: The available 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system features an easily navigable design like your smartphone while giving you access to satellite radio, streaming audio via Bluetooth, Navigation, and more.
  • Go Handsfree: With Bluetooth streaming audio and wireless phone connectivity, you can sync up your smartphone right from your pocket. Voice controls allow for easy changing of songs or making of calls, and you can stream straight from your favorite Internet radio stations.

2016 Dodge Dart Reviews

The Dart has had a few different and distinct variations in its long history, but it’s always been a beloved car. These 2016 Dodge Dart reviews are proof that drivers still love the small car and are excited for its future:

  • The Car Connection: “The Dart may be an established part of the Dodge lineup today, but it’s a relative newcomer … the Dart throws Dodge remarkably close to the inner bullseye, with a sporty front-wheel-drive compact sedan.”
  • Kelley Blue Book: “With three engine options, the Dart offers more choices than the Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla or Nissan Sentra, and thanks to numerous personalization options, it’s easy to build a Dart that stands apart from these competitors. Be it the luxurious Limited, Sporty GT or miserly Aero, the Dart offers something for everyone in a package that is fuel-efficient, safe and fun.”
  • AutoTrader: “Unlike most compact cars, the Dodge Dart feels like it was built by people who love to drive, demonstrating ride and handling characteristics that are more befitting of a sport sedan.”

We want to hear your 2016 Dodge Dart review, which means we need to put you in the driver’s seat.
